Louis Hiemstra

is a well established South African artist; painter, cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator of books.

His work is well represented in local galleries, corporate buildings and in homes in South Africa, as well as abroad.

Louis is a Fellow of the former Watercolour Society of SA. He occasionally served as selector of national exhibitions of the Society. He also paints in oils and acrylics.

A number of books illustrated by him have been published.

is ’n goedgevestigde Suid-Afrikaanse kunstenaar; skilder, spotprenttekenaar, karikaturis en illustreerder van boeke.

Sy werk word goed verteenwoordig in plaaslike galerye, korporatiewe geboue en wonings in Suid-Afrika asook oorsee.

Louis is ’n Genoot (‘Fellow’) van die voormalige Waterverfgenootskap van Suid-Afrika. Hy het per geleentheid gedien as keurder van die nasionale uitstallings van die Genootskap. Hy gebruik ook olie en akriel as medium om mee te werk.

’n Aantal boeke wat hy illustreer het, is al gepubliseer.

Kunskasse word aangebied op 'n Maandag en Dinsdag in die middag vanaf 14h00 tot 17h00 (Skakel asb voor die tyd indien u dit wil bywoon)
