The "Fonteinhuisie museum"

The history of Jongensfontein is beautifully depicted in this cute old museum next to the swimming beach at Jongensfontein. This stone house(Fonteinhuisie) was buildt in about 1940. It was built of stones off the beach area.Buildings like the "Fonteinhuisie" were common in early Jongensfontein.Today this house houses the Jongensfontein museum.
