What is Exotic Hardwood?
This type of wood can be found on trees that grow in other countries than your own. Many people choose exotic over local hardwood because they are rare and very beautiful.
Interesting facts about Hardwood:
Blackwood and Bluegum (Saligna) timber is originally from Australia but is grown in South Africa as well. Blackwood can be used to create expensive appliances and Saligna timber for flooring and panelling.
Kiaat is an easy to use, long-lasting wood grown in Southern Africa. Even boats can be made with this wood.
