Black Bass Fishing at Botterkloof.
One of the best kept secrets in the Southern Cape is our very own Botterkloof Resort, just outside Stilbaai. Three of our dams are stocked with Black Bass. We operate on s catch and release basis.
Deep Sea Fishing.
For those for a adventure we arrange one day sea fishing excursions from Stilbaai. Fishing rods, equipment and bait are supplied. You also get to keep the fish you catch.
Fish in the Goukou River.
Some of the best fishing in Stilbaai is in the Goukou River. Record size Cob(Kabbeljou) are caught in the (Ponds Hole) and Grunter are plentiful at the river mouth.
Fish from the Rocks.
If you enjoy fishing from the rocks, Jongensfontein and Blombos rocks are highly recommended. These are known as some of the best fishing spots in the Southern Cape.
